Vaan R6

Still in aluminum... and green!

A year after the launch of their first model, the R4, and just ahead of the launch of the R5, Vaan Yachts has unveiled the first visuals of the largest model in the range, the R6.

The builders have retained the same design, namely high freeboard, vertical bows and a short nacelle with an arch at its after end, extended by a fabric bimini. The cockpit features twin helm stations and uses the concept of a Y-shaped sail maneuvering console, as seen on the R4. Construction remains faithful to aluminum - most of the materials used coming from recycling channels - and propulsion is of course electric.

Builder: Vaan Yachts
Material: Aluminum
Length: 58’ (17.68 m)
Beam: 29’8” (9.03 m)
