The V Yacht is an innovative catamaran designed by Maxence Valdelèvre on the basis of an O Yacht Class 6.
Far from current standards, the catamaran currently being finished is far-sighted in offering top of the range high-performance with minimalist concepts, to reduce both the costs and the weight embarked. How? Just one engine, just one diesel tank, the same for the water: enough to break the overloading spiral and allow the various areas to be enlarged, without compromising performance under sail. We also find simplified automated control lines thanks to new technology, whilst load checks are carried out for safety. The list of innovations embarked remains confidential until everything has been validated.
A boat with all the options - whether talking about energy, range, speed or comfort – to sail to the other side of the world. The tests and finishing will take place at Canet en Roussillon, a high place for multihull meetings in the Mediterranean, and we will be able to see the boat from the autumn boat shows onwards…
