The return of the ocean racing 'dragonflies'...

We left them wounded and humiliated after the disastrous Rhum 2000. Today they are back, these sublime machines which have us dreaming, these ocean-going trimarans sailed by exceptional sailors...

After a few warm-up rounds and a few races for evaluation, the MOD 70s are starting their real career with a first Atlantic crossing from New York to Brest. As we go to press, the four trimarans have arrived safely in the USA, and are impatiently waiting to be able to race against each other over the length of a Transat.
Note that following the withdrawal of his sponsor, Veolia, Roland Jourdain's MOD 70 n°2 has been bought by Multi One Design SA (the creator of the MOD 70 class), so it can be chartered or sold more easily to an interested party. Any takers?
