The Caribbean 600 race, which this year started on February 21 from Antigua, offers surely one of the most beautiful courses in the region: a zigzagging route of 600 miles with 11 tropical islands as marks of the course... Out of the 74 yachts signed up for the event, 10 were multihulls (MOCRA rules).
Line honors went to the MOD70 Argo (USA128), skippered by Jason Carroll, setting a new course record in a time of 1 day 5 hours 48 minutes and 44 seconds. On corrected time, the MOD70 Maserati skippered by Giovanni Soldini was the winner.
