While you and I dream of sailing round the world in 3, 5 or 10 years, some people’s sole aim is to sail as fast as possible, and above all in an incredibly uncomfortable way, between point A and point B.
The proof, with the latest record to date in 2017, hich seems to be a good year for establishing astounding times. After both the crewed and singlehanded round the world records were beaten this winter, Phaedo 3 (MOD 70) has just beaten the crewed transpacific record, between Los Angeles and Honolulu, in a little over 3 days and 16 hours.
The video of the feat also shows how exciting life aboard these machines must be, but also...how very uncomfortable!
