2017 will have been a significant year for records. Records around the world with a crew and solo were beaten this winter. 

So while you and I are dreaming of going around the world for 3, 5 or 10 years, some folk aim to sail as fast as possible, and in an unbelievably uncomfortable way between a point A and a point B. This is Phaedo 3 which has just beaten the crewed record for the transpacific between Los Angeles and Honolulu, in just over 3 days and 16 hours.
