Racing in the West Indies this winter

Traditionally, these islands are the meeting place for cruiser racing enthusiasts in winter, and many of them have been legitimately asking what would be happening to these regattas in 2018.

The St Maarten Heineken Regatta will definitely be taking place from 1^st to 4^th March 2018, and it will – as in every year since 1980 – be held at St Martin.

The St Barth Cata Cup was maintained, and held at St Barth from 13th to 20th November, for its tenth edition. An anniversary edition which was inevitably a bit unusual, but when asked the question all the protagonists – organizers, racers and sponsors - were in agreement about the fact that they had to race, to get back to ‘normal’ life…

Finally the 9th Voiles de St Barth, the essential meeting for the cream of the yachting world, will be held as planned, from 8th to 14th April 2018.
