Moorings for multihulls

It must be admitted that although cruising aboard a multihull is a real pleasure, finding a place to leave your proud craft whilst you return to work is not always easy...

Yet several interesting solutions exist, such as the moorings in the Dives estuary, on the Normandy coast. Between Deauville and Ouistreham, the Dives estuary port is naturally protected by a superb line of dunes, offering a wild landing and a peaceful shelter for the boats, even in strong gales.
The site has 300 moorings, both swinging and fore and aft, drying and afloat, and multihulls are welcome here; their welcome is made easier by the large area available, which allows a great freedom to manoeuvre. Finally, a free transport service is available to users 7 days/7, all the year round, avoiding the tiresome use of dinghies… In short, an excellent choice for leaving your boat, especially as there is no beam surcharge for multihulls!
