The venerable 421 is going to be making way for a brand new boat at Lagoon. A boat to see at Düsseldorf, Miami, and of course at the International Multihull Boat Show.
The new Lagoon 42 catamaran picks up the main features of the last generation of catamarans from the builder, with vertical bows, a coachroof which appears ‘suspended’, and a rig positioned well aft. In addition to improving the boat’s trim, this new rig frees the forward end of the nacelle of the mast support, and thus allows a totally uninterrupted, 360° view of the anchorage. It also makes sail handling easier, with a narrow mainsail and a self-tacking jib. Finally, its large fore triangle offers many possibilities for headsails to boost its performance. The builder is offering its catamaran in 3 or 4 double cabin versions, all equipped with a private heads and elegantly designed. Cabins whose beds have side access and which place the emphasis on light. Ventilation has been particularly carefully thought-out.Discover it from January 2016...
