Gunboat 60
The n°1 Gunboat 60 in the series had only just been launched, when it set off by for a 2,000-mile passage to Singapore.

The two couples aboard were thus able to fully test their new boat, and beat a first record, with a top speed of 30.2 knots and a 340-mile day. Not bad for a boat which had only just come out of its moulds.
