With 118 crews representing 13 countries coming from five continents, there were many candidates for the title, and the level was particularly high. In the end, the French crew, Olivier Backes and Matthieu Vandame (photo Rich Roberts) won, ahead of the Dutch pair, Oscar Zeekant and Karel Begemann, and Billy Besson and Jérémie Lagarrigue who completed the podium.
