Extreme 40 Series: it’s started again!

On the programme: eight top-level crews to do battle in an amazing and frankly spectacular machine: a boosted 40-foot catamaran!  And as usual, at each new event, one or two guest boats will enrich an already impressive entry list. Because this year, at the helms of the Extreme 40s, we will find Ernesto Bertarelli, Ian Williams, Pierre Pennec, Morgan Larson, Roman Hagara, Leigh McMillan, Jes Gram-Hansen, Rasmus Kostner and Eric Maris. As for the regatta locations, things are at least as good; after Act 1 in the Sultanate of Oman, at the beginning of March, the Series will go to China (Quingdao, mid-April), Turkey (Istanbul, beginning of June), Portugal (Porto, beginning of July), Cardiff, in Great Britain at the end of August, Italy (Trapani, mid-September), France (Nice, mid October) and finally Brazil to finish the championship in triumph, at the end of November.   
One thing is certain; there will be some tough battles at the buoys this year...
