Around the world in a production cat

We have already presented Cavok to you (in Multihulls World 158), Jean-Pierre Fréry’s Lagoon 400 which will be leaving next September for a round the world trip via the Great Capes.

Cavok was on display at the Multihull Boat Show, and its preparation is already at an advanced stage… After sailing round Spain, to test a certain number of elements (including the work on the rudders, which are now incredibly smooth and don’t vibrate at all), the cat will leave the Mediterranean for the Atlantic this summer, to test the final elements. It will be exhibited at the La Rochelle Boat Show before leaving for its adventure around the world, and between 135 and 150 days at sea.
