Since the end of the 90s, Fountaine Pajot has believed in the motor catamaran and has developed specific ranges. From the first Maryland 37 to the brand-new MY 40 which will be presented at the Düsseldorf Boat Show (a boat which is nominated as 2019 Multihull of the Year, in the Power category), Fountaine Pajot’s Motor Yachts have found a place among a clientele of connoisseurs and big engine lovers. Enthusiasts who should love the new Power 67!
Unlike the Motor Yacht range (MY37 - MY40 - MY44), designed specifically as motor boats, the Power 67 is a catamaran which has been developed from the basis of the Alegria 67, the new flagship of the Fountaine Pajot sailing fleet. The hull has of course been optimized to meet the specific requirements of a motor boat, and to withstand the power of the engines, which range from 2 x 300 hp to 2 x 435 hp. Enough to easily offer good performance under power for lovers of speed, even though the point of this kind of boat is to offer high averages in remarkable comfort.
Another specific feature – the Power 67 offers a flybridge which is even better thought-out for life aboard, and the area formerly dedicated to sail handling has been reorganized to offer new areas. The Power 67 is a big boat, the living volumes aboard are particularly successful: the accommodation offers 4 to 6 double cabins, with an option to have the galley ‘up’ or in the passageway, depending on the owner’s choice. As on the Alegria 67 – the sailing version – the forward cockpit is gigantic, accessible from the interior, and of course offers a real jacuzzi as an option, with an exceptional view of the anchorage…
