An equitable boat

We have already spoken many times about the Watever association, which for example is helping fishermen in Bangladesh to build new boats, designed by Marc Van Peteghem.

The association is also supporting an interesting initiative, Voil'Avenir. This is a boatyard whose employees are reintegrating the world of work and building catamarans accessible to people with reduced mobility (cat obviously designed by Van Peteghem...).
2012 was a particularly good year for Voil'Avenir, as all the employees finished their reintegration period with a either a job or a training course, in very varied fields. As for the construction, the first VA 32' is now finished and will be exhibited at the Multihull Boat Show in La Grande Motte.
And in 2013, the yard will be using infusion techniques for the construction of the VA 26', an elegant little catamaran for mixed use (able-bodied and disabled), which removes the differences between the sailors.
