America's Cup: the first 72’ soon to be launched

Oracle Racing, the Cup defender, has just announced that the construction of its AC 72 is coming along well...
To remind you, the regattas are at the moment taking place in the AC 45, an extremely powerful 45-footer, fitted with a rigid wing. But from next year, and to have a chance of carrying off the prestigious trophy, the crews will have to race in the 72-footer. A real rocket, which James Spithill, the skipper of the American boat, predicts will be ‘sensational', whilst the AC 45 is only ‘spectacular'! Promising...
Oracle's AC 72 will therefore be launched in July, as the rules forbid any launch before 1st July. There remains the eternal question: how many AC 72s will there be for the Louis Vuitton Cup Challenger Series (from 4th July to 1st September 2013)?
We will have the answer shortly, as it will soon be too late to start building such an impressive machine and be operational on time.
