'Tour de Belle Île': an undeniable success

In just five editions the 'Tour de Belle-Île' has succeeded in becoming one of the essential appointments for lovers of good racing…

It must be said that all the ingredients are brought together: an impressive number of boats on the start line (more than 500 this year), the possibility for amateurs to race against the best ocean racing sailors, and above all, the most exceptional racing boats... A great moment of pleasure and conviviality for all those who took part in this edition at the beginning of May.
For the record, the winner on scratch was the MOD 70 Groupe Edmond de Rothschild (in 4h48min), whilst in the Multi50s, Loïc Fequet on Maitre Jacques dominated, ahead of Erwan Le Roux on FenêtréA-Cardinal. Finally, the winner of the 'Petit Tour' (39-mile course along Belle Ile) was the Seacart 26 whose skipper has already announced that he will be back next year, as have many other skippers present.
