We see them appearing more and more frequently in the anchorages, even the most remote ones: motor catamarans are – for the same reasons as their sailing counterparts – revolutionizing the nautical world.
With the Leopard 43 PC, the South African builder is presenting its fourth generation of motor catamarans. And with more than 150 PowerCats launched, Leopard is indisputably one of the major players in this sector. This new catamaran replaces the 39 PC in the range, and picks up everything that made the 51 PC a success, including the very attractive flybridge and the rigid forward cockpit. Performance should be good, with an advertised top speed of 23 knots, and reduced consumption thanks to chined hulls which allow a good amount of space aboard, but with slim forward sections.

Privilège Marine is continuing its development, and is presenting this new motor boat, designed on the basis of the Série 5. The idea here is to offer an alternative, to a clientele which is looking for a comfortable, seaworthy boat, but doesn’t want (or no longer wants) to be bothered with the sail-handling aboard a sailing catamaran. With a cruising speed of 12 knots, the Euphoria makes long-distance cruising possible, whilst enjoying the accommodation and the volume of a 50-foot catamaran with a flybridge, designed exclusively for the crew’s well-being.
