Following on from the New Windelo 50, the test of which we published in MW195, it’s now time for the New Windelo 54. It was presented as a world preview at the International Multihull Show, following an express delivery from Canet-en-Roussillon, a sail of some 70 nautical miles that we’ll be sharing with you soon, as Multihulls World was on board!
While we await publication of this test in our next Forever Green Special Edition, and the release of a large-format video, there’s plenty going on for this model, as our jury has voted it Multihull of the Year in the IMS Premieres category. A well-deserved award for Windelo, undoubtedly one of the manufacturers most committed to eco-yachting. Windelo catamarans incorporate numerous environmentally friendly materials and feature a highly advanced electric propulsion system.
At La Grande-Motte, we were able to appreciate the new deck and interior design, and a clear boost in the standard of finish. The model presented is a Yachting - two other versions are available – the Adventure and the Sport.
