Her carbon/epoxy sandwich construction uses thermoformed foams to avoid the use of squared foam: this shows the level of care given to this catamaran, which has little to do with mass production.
Full test in Multihulls World 187.
With her steeply inverted bows, curved daggerboards, full equipment and luxurious interior fittings (all sandwich construction), the HH50 is missing nothing found on her bigger sisterships. Built in China, these high-end multihulls are aimed at an enlightened clientele looking for exclusivity, style and exceptional performance. This model is also available in a clever version called the Ocean Series. While the lines drawn by the talented Morelli-Melvin team remain the same, fiberglass replaces carbon for the hulls; mast and boom are made of aluminum; and the curved daggerboards give way to sensible fixed skegs.
