C-Cat 38

An Assertive Offshore Character

You’d be hard pushed to find better ambassadors than Massimo Guardigli and Flavia Proietti for the C-Cat 38, an extended and revised version of the 37: the couple who have been managing Comar Yachts since 1998 are the owners of hull #1 presented in Miami and they themselves sailed their new catamaran to this side of the Atlantic – coming first in the ARC 2024 in the Multihull B category.

It would seem that the architects from Marc Lombard Design who predicted an appreciable speed gain of 0.9 knots with 10 knots of wind compared to the 37 were not wrong...

In terms of changes, a comfortable aft bench and a 35 cm (14 in) longer table have been added. New features include composite davits and steering wheels, while the bowsprit and bimini are in carbon. Accommodation ranges from 2 to 4 cabins with 2 bathrooms. The cockpit can be fully enclosed with removable fabric or composite panels. This option doubles the floor space of the saloon.
