The second model in the brand-new Coupe range unveiled at Miami stands out from the usual power catamaran weekenders in that it is much larger - this segment of the market typically ranges from 36 to 42 feet.
So, Aquila Power Catamarans is taking a daring gamble with this 46, which has just two cabins. This size corresponds to classic cruisers with much greater sleeping capacity, or to large powercats dedicated to fishing. The second original feature of this new 46 Coupe is that its powertrain - proportionally a little less powerful than that aboard the 42 - is available either outboard or diesel-powered. Here again, the manufacturer is thinking outside the box - and so much the better!
The deck layout, like that of the 42 Coupe, features a vast aft cockpit with a central passage through the nacelle to the bow-rider.
The Aquila 46 Coupe will make its world premiere at the Miami International Boat Show from February 12 to 16.
