Following on from their 450 W electric sculling oar and 1,000 W outboard, Temo unveiled its new Seaside range at the Metstrade show in Amsterdam, with three power ratings (450, 1,000 and 3,000 W).
This complete propulsion system, perfectly suited to a smaller trimaran (up to 3 t), could be duplicated aboard a catamaran: it includes a motor pod, a removable battery rack and innovative controllers. On a small 100% electric multihull, energy management is of course crucial: “Temo's vision is to make electric power available on board,” highlights Alexandre Seux, the brand’s co-founder. “With the Seaside range, we’re not only bringing you the very best in marine powertrains with the latest generation technologies, but we’re also innovating by rethinking the entire on-board energy system so that the motor battery can also serve all the boat’s equipment.”
Seaside propulsion systems will be available from 2025.
