37 years after its very first dive computer, Suunto unveils its first GPS sports watch with integrated dive computer. For greater readability, the watch features a luminous AMOLED display.
It also features a Bühlmann 16 GF decompression algorithm to ensure the safety of freedivers and divers. By pairing it directly with the Suunto Tank POD, it gives you an accurate view of your remaining air level, so you can enjoy your dive with complete confidence. Various alarms and vibration alerts warn the user, in real time, of remaining air level, decompression stops to be made, and the depth and duration of the dive.
Suunto Ocean also meets the needs of everyday sporting activities. It features optimum battery life, up to 40 hours in dive mode and 50 hours in GPS tracking mode. It features 95 sports modes, a barometric altimeter and dual band GPS/GNSS for precise tracking.
Like the other watches in the Suunto family, once you’ve connected to the dedicated app, you can obtain a complete visual display of your itinerary. Divers will have a holistic experience of their outing thanks to the dive log, available on the same app as the one for outdoor activities. On the deck of your multihull, Suunto Ocean allows you to keep track of your daily activities, so you'll always have an eye on your training load, progress and recovery.
Suunto Ocean is made entirely using renewable energy. Over its entire lifecycle, it generates a total of 11.63 kg (25.6 lbs) of CO2, equivalent to driving 70 km (44 mi) by car.
