Manufactured in Hamburg, Germany, by Yachtwerft, Ribcat tenders feature an optional carbon structure, enabling them to weigh as little as 170 kg (375 lbs) for a length of 3.65 meters (12 feet) and 230 kg (507 lbs) for a length of 4.3 meters (14’1”), a saving of around 20%.
A built-in compressor automatically inflates or deflates the floats in 45 seconds, minimizing storage dimensions. Their limited height of 1 m (3’3”) means they fit into most large multihull dinghy garages.
The catamaran design guarantees excellent stability. As for the forward-mounted steering console, it is extremely practical, freeing up a lot of space on board.
Ribcat tenders can be powered by either an electric motor or a conventional outboard engine. In both cases, thanks to their low drag, they deliver excellent performance. These tenders can be customized to match the look of your multihull by changing colors, fabrics or deck coverings.
