Typically, a boat hook is quite a bulky item and one we don’t keep on the deck of our multihulls perhaps as long as we should. This is why the product presented by Seaview Progress at the innovation contest organized by the Paris Boat Show is a very interesting one: at 6’3” (1.90 m) in length, this composite boat hook can be rolled up and stowed very easily.
The “hook end” locks onto the pole using the principle of the ¼ turn bayonet fitting. Its neoprene handle allows it to float. And this handle will be able to adapt very soon to fit a brush, a fish landing net and even a GoPro stick.
