Retractable navlights

While most of our multihulls are equipped with masthead lights, the same cannot be said for small trimarans...

These boats, often transported by road and therefore regularly having their rigs unstepped, do not warrant electrical wiring in the mast. Navigation lights are therefore fitted to the central hull. Though the white sternlight might be relatively protected on the transom, it is not the same for the green and red bow light (or lights). Whether they are positioned on the coachroof or the pulpit, these navlights are exposed to the crew's boots, headsail sheets and sometimes even the anchor. The double Pop-Up Combination Bow Light has the neat feature of retracting below deck with a simple press of the finger when not in use. Its range is USCG approved for one mile.
