Italian automated watermaker brand HP Watermakers had already developed their own Part-NET 1.0 software for owners, that was fully compatible with existing on-board electronics from Raymarine, Garmin, Furuno, Simrad, B&G and Lowrance.
This powerful tool allows the user to manage the entire desalination system - including pressure, temperature and salinity parameters - from the comfort of the plotter up on deck or even using a smartphone. Now, the new Part-NET 2.0 version retains all these innovations but adds even more flexibility and functionality. Equipment settings can now be changed at any time, the graphical interface is more user-friendly - for example, the light gray background of the old interface has been replaced by a dark blue version - and the user manual (in 5 languages) incorporates QR codes for easy ordering of any spare parts required. Perhaps the most remarkable innovation is the inclusion of technical support video tutorials into the system that can be accessed without even needing an internet connection.
