Garmin’s GPSMAP X3 series now includes a new model with a 16” screen.
The newcomer takes over the features of the GPSMAP X3s, namely integrated Garmin Navionics+™ cartography and IPS screen. Combined plotter-sounder versions (GPSMAP xsv series) feature integrated ClearVü and SideVü ultra-high-definition scanning sounder functionality. These bright, high-contrast color palettes make it easy to identify fish.
This series of chartplotters is also compatible with the full range of Garmin Panoptix fishfinders, including the LiveScope real-time scanning sonar (sold separately), which lets fishermen see what’s going on around their multihull in real time.
The GPSMAP X3 can, of course, be connected to a wide range of compatible devices such as fishfinders, autopilots, radars, instruments, cameras and more. The Garmin can also be connected using NMEA 2000 technology or Wi-Fi, enabling, for example, the installation of software updates or the reception of Smart Notifications from the free ActiveCaptain app - available on compatible smartphones or tablets.
The recommended retail price of the GPSMAP 16x3 is €5,499.99, while the GPSMAP 16x3xsv is €5,699.99.
