Microoled, Europe’s leading manufacturer of OLED microdisplays, has made ActiveLook technology compatible with the NMEAremote app. The integration brings all your multihull’s essential information directly and instantly into the navigator’s field of vision.
ActiveLook is in fact “head-up display” technology for ActiveLook-compatible connected eyeglasses. Skippers and crew have instant access to data such as boat speed, wind, course and depth. This means you could dispense with fixed sources of information such as on-board display screens or smartphone displays, which require a great deal of attention. Connected eyeglasses will be particularly useful when it comes to racing, but also sailing offshore when short-handed - or, even more so when single-handed.
The NMEAremote application is available on the App store at €17.99. A lite version is also available at €3.99.
