- Corsair 880
Multihulls are not out of the ordinary and, like most other boats, often have small flaws. The main problems on trimarans and catamarans are brought about due to their size. This large size that is essential for stability and speed can be a handicap when it comes to a "place in the port!" It can be argued that a small multihull is no bigger than a large monohull, but there is always the other problem of transport as normally the boat requires dismantling. Although this is not impossible, it is long and tedious and involves a lot of expert technique.
