New Cat

An indispensible learning tool; the smallest boat from New Cat is for the smallest sailors. The New Cat 12 symbolises the advance of multihulls over monohulls. In sailing schools, children prefer the small cat to the Optimist. The cat doesn't fill up with water as the Optimist does and therefore doesn't need balling out! On a cat, the platform is good and stable and children thus gain confidence quicker. The little cat makes learning easy but still with a sensation of speed. The New Cat 12 was designed for two children of 10 to 12 years of age or even three younger sailors.
