Kennex 420

The latest design to emerge in the 40 feet cruising cat market is the "Silver Destiny" from Pro Kennex. However, the 420 stands out from others of this size due to her wide beam of 7.5 meters, which gives her significantly more volume in the accomodation area when compared to similar sized cats, and in particular the large cockpit, made even more spacious with the use of twin wheels instead of tillers. Designed by Marc Von Pethegen and Vincent Lauriot-Prevost, famous for their creation of Florence Arthaud's "Pierre Premier", this is their third cruising cat design. The Kennex 420 incorporates the same formula as used on the 380, in particular the concept of having the navigation table and the galley in the salon, creating a cosy atmosphere both at sea and when at a mooring.
