World Cruising Calendar is an application which is available from the Apple Store, and is a multimedia alternative to the essential Pilot Charts.
To know when and where to sail, all you have to do is launch the application, and you will have the answer. Magic!
Another advantage of the WCC; you can publish your boat's position, thus allowing your friends and family to follow your movements, as well as being a way of meeting up with your 'boat-friends' again.
Finally, you can also publish news on your wall, communicate information, or place an advertisement, visible to everyone. A functionality called Skip'inTouch, which is just a foretaste of what this sailors' 'Facebook' will become in the coming months...
