A new 53-foot powercat, a new brand, a dedicated website... but well-known players: Veya Yachts is the result of an ambitious joint venture between Fountaine Pajot and Guy Couach.
The Veya 53, the first model to be presented, is scheduled to be on display at next year’s MIBS, in February 2026. It’s clear that this newcomer is positioning itself safely, i.e. without overlapping Fountaine Pajot’s existing power catamaran range, taking advantage of the very large gap between the MY6 (46 feet/14 m) and the Power 67 (64’7”/19.69 m). It remains to be seen whether the Veya brand will restrict itself to this niche spot, which extends from 44 to 67 feet... or will end up taking over from motor yachts... Until we have the answer, here is a powercat that aims to be powerful, comfortable and luxurious. In terms of visual signature, it is the front of the coachroof with its inverted slope that does the job. The generously sized interiors will be available in 3 or 4-cabin versions.
