Ubi Maior Jiber: A genoa furler without a foil

Removing the aluminum tube around the forestay can sometimes save a lot of weight – aloft and right at the bow.

That means less pitching... but not only that: you also get less drag, which means better performance - especially when sailing downwind. The genoa can be attached to the forestay using two systems: soft hanks or zip bags. In both cases, the sail can be set or furled much faster than with conventional furling systems. In addition to being able to adjust the halyard tension at any time, the Jiber's small dimensions make it possible to equip your multihull with larger headsails. No more need to choose between the performance of tuff-luff or the ease of a furling system!
