The Sailing Resort's original and ambitious objective is to combine facilities worthy of a four-star hotel with respect for the marine environment. The company is proposing schooner-rigged 86-foot trimarans which are equipped with hybrid propulsion systems.
On board, comfort will be in line with that of a 150-foot superyacht with 6 VIP cabins of 12m² (130 sq ft) each, with private bathrooms and a pullman berth (up to 18 passengers in all). The crew quarters will be totally separate, and large private interior and exterior spaces will be available. And as for destinations, there’ll be eco-sensitive sailing areas as varied as the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean, the South Pacific, Southeast Asia or Australia.
Tour operator Windward Islands Yachting & Travel, a specialist with over 20 years’ experience in crewed multihull management, has been selected for the launch of the new cruising programs set up to raise passenger awareness of the need for protection marine environments, and for the marketing of these trimarans, which are to be built and launched over the next five years. An investment program is being proposed for the ownership of these multihulls, with a guaranteed income.
