For the 14th edition of the Tahiti Pearl Regatta, a regular won again, as Pierre Cosso aboard his Outremer 45 NusaDua took the trophy for the eighth time in eight participations.
But this year, he had a lot on to beat an on-form Nicolas Gruet on his EkoloKat 34, and above all the Diam 24 Trésor de Tahiti, which was disqualified in the fifth leg for having missed a mark on the course. Finally, the two Corsair Pulse 600s made an impression through their good top speed and their consistency.
The Tahiti Pearl Regatta is above all always a nice moment of conviviality and the pleasure of sailing, shared with other enthusiasts.
