Spurred on by the AIMEX group, SuperYacht Australia and Australian Marine Exports, which represent the interests of the industrial and nautical tourism sectors ($ 1.97 billion), the Australian government has opened up the possibility of yachts of over 35 meters cruising and even anchoring in the waters of the Great Barrier Reef. This area will from now on be able to welcome the big Yachts, which previously had to divert to Fiji or other Pacific islands.
