In association with Malcom McKeon, a recognized specialist in superyacht design, Sunreef Yachts are preparing a giant 150-foot (46-meter) ocean-going catamaran. This monster will be built in composite and will have a carbon rigging capable of carrying up to 26,900 sq ft (2,500 m²) of sail area.
The daggerboards will allow the draft to be varied from 10 to 23 feet (3 to 7 meters). This unit, already exceptional for its size, will see a fully glazed coachroof and an XXL-sized flybridge of some 700 sq ft (65 m²). With a beam of 55’8” (16.65 m), the cockpit is obviously huge - it includes a sheltered saloon and dining area. Further aft, the sugarscoops incorporate sunbathing, a beach club, but also a 20’ (6.20 m) tender and all the water toys you could dream of on board. The main saloon - with a dining area for 18 people - is accessed through glazed doors that open up across almost the entire width of the superstructure. The Owner and VIP suites are located forward on the main deck. These en-suite cabins both have a sun lounger, desk and dressing room. They open onto the sunloungers in the forward cockpit and its jacuzzi. The starboard hull houses the four guest cabins. The crew quarters and galley are located in the port hull.
