For several decades now, the catamaran configuration has been convincing vessel owners (and scuba diving professionals in particular), but the offer in sizes under 40 feet is pretty limited.
Italian builder Seabus seems to have understood this, as five examples of its Smart 380 have already been ordered. With a usable surface area of 750 square feet (70 m²), this catamaran can accommodate 35 passengers. A generous T-top provides protection from the sun or bad weather. The shipyard offers a wide choice of drivetrains for its powercat - electric, inboard or outboard. Check it out at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
