Razor Cat 52

Speed, comfort and safety

Schionning Designs, with their 25 years of experience in multihulls and 400 boats built, are offering stripped down, seaworthy but comfortable catamarans. Some models are intended for amateur construction while others, such as this Razor Cat 52, lend themselves to professional construction (here Pacific Seacraft, based in North Carolina).

The Razor Cat features narrow hulls and inverted bows, good bridgedeck clearance (3’ / 91 cm), daggerboards and a powerful rig for getting going - all factors that guarantee good performance. The deck plan has been designed to be manageable for single-handed sailing. Inside, there is a panoramic view, more than 6’6” (2 meters) of headroom, a well-sheltered helm station and a large U-shaped galley.
