In detail for the forthcoming Rallye des Iles du Soleil, there are five Lagoons - one 40, one 42 and three 450s - three Fountaine Pajots - one Lucia 40 and two Astréa 42s - one Bali 5.4 and one Nautitech 46 Open. The fleet is due to assemble in Marina La Palma (Canary Islands) on October 25 to begin the final preparations for the start, including safety and medical checks, and briefings on weather, safety, medical and communications... not forgetting all the social events such as the crew party, breakfasts and daily aperitifs organized by the organization...
The 26 registered yachts will set off on November 1, bound for Marie-Galante off Guadeloupe, via Mindelo in Cape Verde, 970 miles for the first leg and 2,130 miles for the second.
