With the announcement of the M7 at boot Düsseldorf, the M-Line now includes three power catamarans.
The new model focuses on sobriety, with low fuel consumption, a maximum speed limited to 20 knots and a respectable range of 1,330 miles at 8 knots. At this speed, fuel consumption is limited to 2 liters (0.53 US gallons) per nautical mile. The hulls have been optimized for seakindliness - and thus safety and comfort in all conditions. If you opt for the Silent Mode Package, this allows zero carbon emissions for 12 hours, without sacrificing any of the usual comfort.
Compared to the M48 and M8, there have been design improvements, with a few new modern touches, such as the wider bulwark, forward, the more pronounced inverted deck sheer near the cockpit, the semi-transparent coachroof pillar set apart from the superstructure, and a more assertive selection of colors.
Aboard the M7, there are three particularly appealing innovations: the port-side companionway door leads directly to the side-deck, but also to the flybridge staircase, which is presented “back-to-front” compared to conventional configurations. This arrangement makes the flybridge accessible from both inside and outside, without wasting space, while protecting the staircase from the elements. Up top, the helm station is not set at the front: the M7’s designers decided to place huge sun loungers immediately behind the large wrap-around windshield. Finally, the M7 has been designed to be customizable: the manufacturer has studied a very wide range of configurations, layouts and options to ensure that each model corresponds exactly to the owner’s wishes.
