This catamaran has already been presented in the United States, back in 2019, but not yet at Cannes as far as we know, unlike its little sibling, the Overblue 44.
PREMIERE AT THE CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL
The 54 sets the tone from the outset: no, it’s definitely not designed for offshore adventures! So the deal is, with its limited beam and superstructures that “eat up” the side decks like one of Paris’ famous bateaux-mouches, to make the most of sheltered waters, rivers and even canals (although beware of the air draft below any bridges), while offering exceptional comfort (there’s even electric sunshades!) to its 6 passengers in three cabins. The catamaran configuration offers real fuel autonomy compared with a monohull design, as well as greater stability and easier handling (twin motors + thrusters). A rectangular deck layout also offers greater comfort at anchor, more living space on board and additional entertaining room.
