Private boat shows are nothing new, but it has to be said that the restrictions imposed by Covid have largely contributed to the spread of these events.

In the absence of “traditional” boat shows, builders have organized private meetings with potential customers, making their range available on the water - and preferably at home, to limit travel and give visitors a chance to discover the shipyard. The formula was so popular that it still continues today... The next event of this kind to mark on your calendars is Fountaine Pajot’s “Open Days” from June 27 to 29: all sailing models - with the exception of the Thíra 80 - will be on show afloat in the heart of La Rochelle, with the possibility of sea trials by appointment. Customers and owners of all nationalities are expected to attend.
