A 3D image and a brief video - that's all the manufacturer has released on its website and social media on Friday, December 17th. We suspect that this new model, like the Excess 11, is part of the second generation, meaning that it shouldn’t (in theory) be borrowing a Lagoon mold – as with the 12 and 15.
The few elements we have, in addition to the new design of the hull windows, show inverted bows, a very short nacelle with the mast stepped just in front, and deeper keels. The objective is clearly to ensure good performance... As for the size of this new model, we could bet on an Excess 14, given that 13 isn’t necessarily a good number in marketing terms... But why not a 17?
