Ever since the Nautitech 44 was announced, we suspected that the 46, which is very close both in size and program, was likely coming to the end of its run. A few months ago at the Cannes Yachting Festival, rumors of a forthcoming 48 were rife.
The Nautitech 48 was officially announced on December 9, but for now, little information other than a general visual has been released. The classic short Nautitech nacelle is clearly evident, and also notable are the significantly inverted bows. The 48 certainly look to be a nice surprise: first, because the manufacturer is launching, after its 44, a real dynamic of new models that has been lacking in recent years. Secondly, the demonstration that there are indeed several niches between the all-comfort and the all-performance. The presence of Excess in this fairly well-balanced setting that Nautitech is taking on, further confirms the relevance of the design, signed like the other models in the range by Marc Lombard Design.
