The international team behind the new Makai powercat brand is now bolstered by numerous firm orders and, most importantly, has just begun production of its first model - the Makai M37 - in Split, Croatia.
In terms of design, this sporty powercat is clearly inspired by Italian cabriolets. Performance will not be overlooked, as Jay Nolan, co-founder of the brand (centered in the photo of the three men), promises us a top speed close to 40 knots thanks to the design of the hull - which is planing and semi-asymmetrical. In cruising mode, the Makai 37 aims to combine driving comfort and reduced fuel consumption. The interior accommodation features two beautiful, independent cabins, each with its own bathroom. Hull #1 is scheduled for launch right at the start of summer: Multihulls World has already booked in for the first test!
