Teams from Lagoon’s Premium division took advantage of the Cannes Yachting Festival to reveal the details and initial renderings of their new flagship.
The two ranges, Sixty and Seventy, have already launched a total of 50 units, testifying to customers’ enthusiasm for these very large catamarans built in small series production runs - but by a custom service - and justifying the design of even larger models.
Aboard the Eighty 2, we find the famous opening in the hull topsides as first seen on the Seventy 7 - it acts as a terrace on the water in the Owner’s suite. Despite being proportionately narrower in beam than the Sixty, for example, the deck offers a flybridge of some 540 square feet (50 m²) that can be fitted out as desired, while aft, the platform connecting the sugarscoops covers 236 sq ft (22 m²)... Inside, you’ve got the choice of galley up or galley down.
In all likelihood, the Lagoon Eighty 2 will be available in a power version.
